This is an amazing resource for any subject or key stage to cut down on your marking workload. Simply print this sheet out and, whilst 'ticking and flicking' through a set of books, make some general comments within the six boxes provided. Display a scanned version of the completed sheet in your next lesson, or copy a small version for all learners to stick into their books. It's not to be used everytime you mark books, but once every half-term or so would really have an impact on your workload whilst still allowing you to effectively feedback to your class.

Top tip: NAME individual learners on the sheet who have done particularly well; they love the praise and the fact that the whole class will see their name or even have their name in their books!
